Grafana is a full-featured interactive dashboard which comes standard with all Hosted Graphite plans.
To create a new dashboard, click the Home dropdown in the top left corner and select New. You can add new rows and panels to the dashboard as shown below.
To add a metric to a graph click the title of the panel and select edit to open the graph editor. From there you can add your metrics to the graph, apply functions on those metrics, change the graph style and give it a name.
To apply a function to a group of metrics, open the graph editor, click the + icon and select the function to apply.
To zoom in on each graph you can highlight the section of a graph you wish to zoom in on or use the time range controls. You can also set an auto-refreash rate to have your graphs update automatically. This is especially useful if you have a dedicated display for monitoring your graphs
To the left of each row there is a little green rectangle, hover over this to get access to quick row controls.
You can move panels by simply dragging and dropping them around the dashboard. You can also click and drag the corners making it easy to adjust both height and width.
To name your dashboard click the options cog and select settings. You can also add tags to your dashboard to help organise them. To save your dashboard click the floppy icon.
Clicking on the Home dropdown lets you choose from your previously saved dashboards. You can also use the search function to filter the results.
You can toggle the sidemenu by clicking on the Hosted Graphite icon in the top left corner. This provides you with quick access to documentation and support
